We were privileged to host the first screening of Breach in Europe on Friday evening. Breach, a film about Icelandic whaling, was presented by its producer and director, Los Angeles-based film-maker, Jonny Zwick.
Icelandic fin whaler, Kristjan Loftsson (pictured in blue jumper below, fourth left), has not had a good couple of weeks. The Icelandic media continues to be relentless in its criticism of the billionaire following his recent re-election as Chair of the board of seafood giant, HB Grandi.
I’m delighted to report that Breach, a documentary on Icelandic whaling made by independent LA-based film-maker, Jonny Zwick, will receive its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California, which opens today and runs to February 7th.
