EXPEDITION: WHITE SHARKS AND WHALES!

Whale and Dolphin Conservation and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC) host this all-day trip to see some of the most exciting wildlife Cape Cod has to offer - whales, great white sharks, and seabirds galore!

Experts from WDC and AWSC will be your onboard guides who will show you whales and sharks while also explaining their biology, behavior, and conservation.

All of the proceeds from these all- day trips go toward WDC and AWSC’s mutual goal of ocean conservation.

TRIP DATES -

New in 2023! There are two trip locations to choose from:

Plymouth, MA: August 12th and August 19

Provincetown, MA: September 10

ABOUT THE TRIPS -

PLYMOUTH: We will depart at 8 AM from Plymouth, MA on board the Tails of the Sea owned by Capt John Boats. We plan to return around 4 pm.

PROVINCETOWN: We will depart at 9:30 AM from Provincetown, MA on board a vessel owned by Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch. We plan to return around 3:30 PM.

All trips will be onboard a whale watch boat which gives us a raised view of all marine wildlife, including white sharks. The benefit of this raised view is that you can see sharks who are deeper in the water and would be tough to see from a boat which was lower to the water. Due to the size of these boats, we do have to stay in water that is at least 10 feet deep, which may determine which areas we can go to for viewing sharks.

TICKET PRICING & INFORMATION -

Tickets are $195 per person (plus processing fees). All passengers are required to purchase a ticket, and it is one price ($195) for all ages.

Tickets include a breakfast item, water bottle, and a lunch (including sandwich, chips, and a dessert). Due to food handling guidelines, we are not able to meet the needs of all dietary restrictions. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks onboard.

In addition to being an incredible experience on the water, this trip directly supports research and conservation of white sharks and whales. The AWSC and WDC are 501c3 non profit organizations, and this trip furthers our conservation efforts and furthering our understanding of white sharks and whales.

When purchasing tickets please note that important trip information (including cancellations) will be sent to the email address used in your registration. Please use an email address that you check regularly.

If you have questions, feel free to send an email to [email protected].

Tickets are not transferable between dates and locations. Please double check your calendar before purchasing to ensure you are buying for a date and location that works for you. Once a trip sells out (which usually happens quickly), we can not switch your tickets to a different date.
