BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIRTUAL EXPEDITION: WHITE SHARKS AND WHALES

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th

7:00-9:00 pm EDT

Find out how much you don’t know about sharks and whales as you listen to our group of marine specialists sharing facts and swapping stories about their time on the water.

Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC) have hosted this wildly popular trip for the last six years. Unfortunately, we aren’t heading out on the water this year BUT we have something VERY unique for you instead! Join us for an evening presentation, hosted by NBC 10's Rob Michaelson, to hear stories, see images and film clips, and the learn latest updates on sharks and whales.

They will also be reminiscing on the past white shark and whale trips - what we saw, how the logistics of each trip determine if we are going to watch whales or sharks first, or how spotter pilot Wayne spots the sharks from the air and directs the captain on where the boat should go.

Our panel will also answer any questions that you send in.

Tickets are $35.00 per household and your donation supports both organizations.

We will send you a link to join us live at 7:00pm EST on Friday, September 18th. If you can’t make it at that time, no worries! After the event, we will send you a link to view the recording as many times as you want for the next 72 hours.

Who are the guest speakers?
