Scottish Dolphin Centre Volunteers 2019

Closing date:
Friday 11 January 2019
WDC's Scottish Dolphin Centre is looking for volunteers to join us for our exciting 2019 season.

Residential Volunteer Programme (1st March-31st Oct 2019)

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to light that spark of conservation in people?  Are you looking to gain valuable experience working for a global marine conservation charity?

Get the experience you need to get ahead in conservation with a volunteer programme that works! At Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) our vision is for a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free and we now have an opportunity for six residential volunteers (2 x Education, 2 x Events & 2 x Shorewatch) to join us, at our Scottish Dolphin Centre in Moray, North East Scotland.

In 2019 there will be an opportunity, as part of the Events role, to also work closely with the Spey Fishery Board Invasive Species Project Officer and undertake Invasive Species Management training to gain your Pa1/Pa6 Pesticide Training Certificate.

Please note that due to the time and costs involved in training our residential volunteers, only candidates who can commit to the entire eight month programme will be considered for the roles.

Closing date: 5pm on Friday 11th January 2019. Interviews will be held via Skype week commencing 21st January.
