Protect the home of the Southern Resident orcas

The coastal waters of Washington, Oregon, and California are vital for the endangered Southern Resident orcas - help us protect them!

The Southern Resident orca population is critically endangered with just 76 individuals left.  This unique community is truly living on the edge of extinction.  In the face of increasing threats, including Canada’s Kinder Morgan Pipeline and the US proposed offshore drilling plan, we must protect the orcas’ coastal habitat now.

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has delayed taking action to expand critical habitat for too long – they must act now, before we lose these icons of the West Coast forever.  Please join us and add your name to our letter urging NMFS not to forget their promise to protect the home of the Southern Residents.
