BBC TV presenter accepts £25,000 donation by Animal Friends Insurance to help protect whales and dolphins
Leading UK Pet Insurer, Animal Friends Pet Insurance have once again committed to help the threats faced by whales and dolphins around the world by donating £25,000 to global marine wildlife charity, Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC).
The cheque was accepted in Bristol by BBC TV presenterand patron of WDC, Miranda Krestovnikoff. Animal Friends was established in 1998 in order to donate funds to animal charities worldwide. So far, the company has done just that to the tune of £3.5m and today, 20 years on, they continue to honour that commitment by supporting a wide variety of animal welfare organisations both in the UK and internationally.
Upon accepting the cheque Miranda (pictured), who is a presenter on BBC’s The One Show commented: “This cheque is going to help whale and dolphin conservation right around the world and help WDC fight hunting, cruel captivity and pollution, which all threaten their lives each and every day”.
Animal Friends Pet Insurance which is based in Wiltshire, are fully committed to an ongoing programme of donations to improve animal welfare around the world.
