Celebrate WDC’s 30th anniversary with a challenge

New Year’s resolutions often involve getting fit, starting a new hobby or learning a new skill, or maybe getting out of our ‘comfort zone’ and conquering a particular fear.  Signing up for a Challenge event is a great way to do one (or more) of these and, at the same time, to raise funds for WDC. Whether it’s mountains, jungles or rivers to climb, trek or swim – or something entirely different, there is a huge variety of challenges on offer at https://www.charitychallenge.com/.

A challenge event is an unforgettable experience: it’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and have fun. Encouragement from fellow participants sees even the most cautious ‘challenger’ tackle things they may only have dreamt of doing.   However, the feeling of exhilaration and pride at the end is overwhelming and one that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

WDC’s Iceland 2017 trekkers described their 5-day adventure as ‘truly memorable, challenging, inspiring and fun’ and one commented ‘Elated just doesn’t come close to describing how I felt’.  All of them would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to have a go.

So, if you’re feeling adventurous, want to get fit or just do something completely different, this is your chance to make WDC’s 30th Anniversary year a year to remember – for us and for you! We’ll support you with your fundraising and provide you with all you need.

And, as if helping WDC to protect whales and dolphins isn’t enough, there’s an added incentive: you can save 15% off your registration fee with Charity Challenge’s Black Friday offer – but hurry, it’s for a limited time only! Register between 24th November and 3rd December 2017 for your 2018 Challenge (valid on all expeditions excluding the North Pole). Just quote BLACKFRIDAY when completing your registration at the checkout.
