Mark Berman

We are deeply saddened to hear that Mark Berman of Earth Island Institute in the United States has passed away. Mark was a very dedicated and committed dolphin conservationist who many of us at WDC had the pleasure of working with over the years. He was fantastic at keeping like-minded groups and individuals up to date on issues close to our hearts and, in the days before email, would use up the whole of our fax roll every week making sure we had the information we needed to do our jobs helping whales and dolphins. One of the best and a real gentleman, he will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts go out to his friends, family and colleagues at this very difficult time.
