WDC receives employee of the month donation

Animal Friends Pet Insurance, who recently donated £20,000 to WDC, have kindly given another £1000 – this time as part of their employee of the month programme.

Alan Beesby, who works for the company, and who has just been made January’s employee of the month, has chosen WDC as the recipient of the donation saying, “we often think of the cute fluffy animals and forget about these truly awe inspiring mammals. WDC works tirelessly with people all over the globe to bring an end to the horrific practice of whaling, which despite a number of international bans still goes on, with some making ridiculous claims that this is done for research purposes.”

WDC would like to thank Alan and Animal Friends for their support.
