Mums The Word…Again !
Hi Everyone,
More new baby news from the Moray Firth… The Kessock Channel this time and our lovely Kesslet has given birth to a brand new little bundle of joy in the last few days !
I was very fortunate that a local tour boat operator, Eric Wardlaw from Phoenix Cruises at Inverness Marina, took me out very quietly and carefully yesterday so that I could get some confirmation photos and ID shots just to be doubly sure. After 5 minutes I had enough pictures to confirm it was Kesslet who was the new Mum and grinning from ear to ear Eric and I headed back to the harbour. Many, many thanks Eric !
Charlie was spotted yesterday away up near Cromarty by my friends from the Lighthouse Field Station who were out on the research boat on their last Photo ID survey of the season, so it looks as though he is giving his Mum peace and quiet with her new little baby – no doubt he will come and visit his little brother or sister soon enough.
As you can imagine…I’m very happy !
