Annual Race to Save a Species 5k

Saturday May  3rd – Change in Start time: 10:00am – Plymouth, MA

With fewer than 500 left in the world, North Atlantic right whales still need our help to avoid extinction.  Join us for the 2nd Annual Race to Save a Species 5k race and family day. This year we are partnering with The Roo Bar and Plymouth Rock Racing to bring you a family-fun race to once again benefit North Atlantic right whales!

All proceeds will support WDC’s efforts to increase protections for this critically endangered species.

  • Great course for beginners and families
  • Free whale-themed obstacle course for children
  • Raffle prizes
  • After-Party Grill at The RooBar

The 5K route will traverse through North Plymouth and along the waterside running path.  Start and finish will occur at The Roo Bar, who will be hosting the fabulous after party!  Parking will be available in the Cordage Commerce lot for free.

Some snacks and drinks will be provided, but if you want to take advantage of the RooBar’s race-day grill (which we highly recommend) bring a little cash along with you.

Packet Pick-up will take place on:

Friday, May 2nd at our offices on 7 Nelson Street from 4-7:00pm  OR

Saturday morning at The RooBar from 8:30-9:30 am
