Dog treats made from endangered whales removed following WDC protest

WDC, along with other conservation groups, has welcomed the decision by a Japanese manufacturer to remove from sale dog treats made from endangered fin whales. 

Michinoku Farms withdrew the dog snacks shortly after WDC and other groups alerted the media and questioned the wisdom of exporting meat from an endangered species to feed pets.
