Morgan's Battle For Freedom

Morgan in captivityPoor, poor Morgan. We are all very sad to hear that a Dutch judge has decided that the marine park, Loro Parque, in the Canary Islands is the best place for her and not to give her a chance to return to the wild in Norway.

Morgan continues to be harassed by the other orcas in this whale jail, but the judge believed the owners when they said that Morgan was part of an important education and research project.

A sad day for her and all the amazing people who wanted to give her a better life. The campaign continues, however, and we will now take the fight to Spain. Morgan, we won’t forget you!

Learn more about the details of Morgan’s sad story.
