Document reveals whale meat could be in feed on Norwegian fur farms

A document has been released which suggests that whale meat is being used in feed supplied to fur farms in Norway.

Norway's whalers continue to carry out commercial whaling each year, killing hundreds of minke whales, though in recent years they have been unable to reach their government's self-allocated quota of over 1200 whales.

Norwegian company fined for selling whale meat in Germany

One year after WDC exposed Norwegian whale meat illegally on sale at one of the world’s biggest food and agricultural fairs in Germany, the Berlin Public Prosecutor has ruled that Arne Roed, managing director of Ford Norge and Innovation Norway, the company responsible for the stand, must pay a fine of 1,000 EUR.
