Help us save endangered whales

Iceland could kill up to 184 fin whales this year. Help stop them.

The Hvalur whaling company is Iceland’s biggest whaler. Its managing director is Kristjan Loftsson. He could kill up to 184 endangered fin whales in 2013 and the slaughter has already begun!

He is using oil from these dead whales to fuel his hunting ships so that he can kill even more endangered whales.  He then sells the whale meat for dogs to eat!

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO STOP HIM – SIGN AND SHARE OUR LETTER TO ICELAND’S PRESIDENT NOW

A new government is now in charge in Iceland.

We need to let this government know that the world will not stand by as more endangered whales die.

Iceland has a growing whale-watching industry. The Icelandic Tourism Association has already said it doesn't want whaling to continue.

Sign our letter to Iceland’s president and let him know you want to see whales safe and free, not boiled up for boat fuel or fed to dogs.

Then please share our campaign with everyone you know using the share buttons below.  The more pressure we can put on the Icelandic government, the more chance we have of ending this madness and saving the lives of intelligent and endangered whales.

Thank you to the following for their help with our video: Lewis MacLeod, Simon Mark Harris, Stephen Turner and Jez Lysaght.
